Warranty Policy
1) Coverage
- We honour the manufacturer’s standard warranty for each product. For most spare parts, the warranty period is 90 days from delivery, unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise.
- Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use by qualified personnel.
2) Exclusions
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, consumables, or damage from improper storage, installation, calibration, misuse, accidents, power issues, liquid ingress, corrosion, or operation contrary to manufacturer instructions.
- Items with removed/altered serial numbers, broken seals, or evidence of tampering.
- Damage occurring during return shipment due to inadequate packaging.
- Third-party costs (diagnostics, labour, downtime) unless agreed in writing.
3) OEM vs equivalent parts
- Where listed as OEM/original, parts are sourced as such. If an OEM part is discontinued, we may offer an equivalent; warranty terms for equivalents follow the supplier’s policy and will be disclosed on request.
4) How to make a warranty claim
- Email support@partsformed.com with order number, part number, serial number (if applicable), detailed fault description, test results or photos, and the device model/SN.
- We may provide troubleshooting steps or request return for evaluation under an RMA.
- If a defect is confirmed within the warranty period, we will repair, replace, or credit (at our discretion and subject to availability). Replacement items may be new or equivalent-to-new.
5) Logistics for warranty returns
- For approved warranty returns, we will advise shipping instructions. Depending on the case and region, we may provide a prepaid label or refund reasonable return shipping costs; otherwise, return shipping is your responsibility.
- Items returned without authorisation may be refused.
6) Limitations
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability under this Warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the affected item. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.
